My journey continues, but it's not just about me anymore! I’m helping others bridge the gap between where they are today and where they want to be. I’m helping them achieve their ultimate wellness goals, and that feels amazing!….

A small steps approach

I believe that if you’re willing to take a chance on yourself and let go of the traditional paths (the 10 year plan) to try something different and new (small and steady), you can find success too.  One small step at a time.

You don’t have to do it alone, or figure it all out by yourself.  I’ve studied and practiced Kaizen for about 10 years now. It’s helped me to lose weight, meditate regularly, drink coffee without sugar, drink more water, lower my sodium intake, and get my blood pressure under control...just to name a few.

I’ve also studied and practiced process improvement while working in the business world for nearly 20 years.  And I’ve found that many of those business principles can be applied to your personal life as well.

Small changes, small actions, and small commitments can take you a very long way.  Often in a surprisingly small period of time! You just have to have the courage to think small.

Success Factors: How to Develop the Will to Win!

I didn’t recognize myself anymore.

Have you ever felt trapped in or betrayed by your own body?  Ever looked in the mirror and saw a version of you that felt like a stranger?

That's exactly how I felt after putting on 40+ extra pounds after having my babies.

  • I felt uncomfortable in my own skin.

  • I didn’t like how I looked so I avoided pictures.

  • AND I developed high blood pressure.

I was unhappy with what I saw and very frightened about having high blood pressure after being in great health my entire life.

Since then, I've been focused on mind, body, and spiritual wellness.  Over the years I've made changes to my activity level, what I eat, and how I think (very important).  With time and persistent effort, I was able to lose the weight and keep it off.

While I was feeling good about my personal achievements, I found that I felt the best when I helped others achieve their own goals by sharing what I've learned on my own journey.  That lead me to become a group fitness instructor, meditation guide, and health coach.

I know now that my purpose is to help others change their mindsets so that they can change their lives.  I do this primarily by being an advocate for personal development and health and fitness. I believe that small steps are the key to mastering your mind and body.  Once you do this, you can face any challenge, both physical or mental.
